Join Archaeological Fieldwork and Research
Are you interested in joining an archaeological field project?
Do you enjoy learning about the human past? Working outdoors? Traveling? Meeting people from all over the world? If your answer is 'yes' to any of these, then have you considered being an archaeologist? Please consider joining our team to work on our field project in Armenia and to learn about archaeology and the ancient Near East.
People of any academic or professional background and from anywhere in the world can join our team. The most important qualities in new team members are: excellent reliability, high attention to details, ability to get along with a team, enthusiasm for the past, patience for fieldwork, communication in English, and some comfort with digital technologies.

You may be able to join our team in one of the following ways:
- Engineers and Computer Programmers- if you have engineering experience in any field or excellent coding skills, and an interest in devoting yourself to applying these talents to the study of the ancient past, please read about joining as an engineer here
- PhD Students - if you have an excellent undergraduate academic record from any background and you are interested in researching digital and Near Eastern archaeology, consider applying to be a PhD student with us, please read here for more information on the PhD

- Post-Doctoral Fellows - if you have recently received your PhD, you have a strong academic record, and you are interested in conducting research related to our archaeological fieldwork, please consider applying to be a post-doc with us, please read here for more information on Postdocs
- from Volunteer to Data Entry Specialist - you may consider volunteering with our project - either in person or online. Volunteers can be located anywhere in the world. Volunteers who demonstrate significant commitment and skill may, over time, qualify to receive a small stipend to do data entry work, please read here for more information on volunteering
